Lily didn't just happen to fall in love with James. It wasn't an accident, but a long drawn out process that grew out of the relationships of the people around them. And when it came down to it, even Lily and James couldn't fight fate.

Review:

This has been the first James/Lily story I’ve read.  I’ve always stayed away because I don’t always like sad stories and I know how things end for this couple, and it’s very tragic.  However, this story has really sucked me in and helped me see James, Lily, and all the Marauders in a new way!

This story has done a fantastic job showing the balance of James Potter’s character of being a carefree prankster who can be quite arrogant and yet a hopeless romantic when it comes to Lily.  And to see Lily’s character grow in depth and I learned to really love her and understand her even more.

As a work in progress, the story has not gotten to the ending I know is coming so I can’t say yet how that was handled.  I am starting to wish it would become an AU story so these characters I have come to love could be around to see their son Harry off to school and beyond.  I’m still holding out hope, but I’m not holding my breath.  I’ll update here later as the story progresses, but so far I have really enjoyed this story and have fallen in love with the Marauders Era.

I adore this story and all the various one shots about the little family of Ron & Hermione!

Of all the collections of one-shots of the Ron & Hermione’s family I really love this one because this author’s head cannon is closely in line with mine.  There are a few differences, but it’s closer than most other stories.  This story has a wide variety of situations, ages of the kids, and character combinations.  There are great little moments of when Rosie and Hugo were little, Ron’s sweet interaction with his kids, Ron and Hermione’s ever growing love for each other, and how the two siblings support and love each other.

If there is one thing I love more than a good Ron/Hermione story, it’s a Romione family story with some Rose/Scorpius!  There have also been a few that have Scorpius, which I also love!

This story is a work in progress, so I always look forward to the new chapters!

Review:
One Big Happy Weasley Family is a collection of one-shots featuring all the Weasley boys.  This is a fairly new story and still a work in progress, but I had to review this story now because I just keep thinking and laughing about the awesome one-shot that is Chapter 2, Ron’s Got Good Taste!

One of the main things I love about this story so far is that it is featuring all the boys in the family, not just the ones we typically focus on in the books or most Fanfiction stories.  For example, my favorite chapter 2 is a hilariously awkward moment between Hermione and Bill that happens during 4th year when all the Weasley boys come home for the Quidditch World Cup.  We don’t usually get to see much of what happened during this time with the other brothers, but there were probably moments just like this when the house was bursting with people!

Probably my next favorite is Chapter 3 when we see Bill come to Percy’s office to discover his failing attempt of wooing Audrey. Very funny!  I really enjoy Keeptheotherone’s version of Bill.  I look forward to more chapters and to see more one-shots with all the Weasley boys!

This was my first AU story I ever read and I fell in love with it! It's one of those stories that I would think about long after I finished reading it.  I was amazed by the detail this author put into this story and that it took those characters I loved and helped me see a different side of them.  This intrigued me to start reading other AU stories, and I’m glad I did because I have read some other truly amazing stories!
